The trek takes you through a diverse landscape of villages, forests, and meadows, providing ample opportunities to immerse yourself in the local culture and observe wildlife. It offers a unique glimpse into the typical Nepali lifestyle and showcases the natural beauty of the region. The trek begins from Trisuli Bazaar and concludes in Dhading Besi.

Located in the central-eastern region of Nepal, Ganesh Himal Trek explores a less-travelled and less-explored area. Positioned between the popular trekking destinations of Langtang and Manaslu, this trek allows you to discover untouched destinations and captivating natural wonders. From the awe-inspiring views of Ganesh Himal to the enchanting waterfalls, towering cliffs, dramatic landscapes, and massive rock formations, the trek promises an unforgettable adventure.

At a glance, the Ganesh Himal Trek spans a duration of 14-16 days, reaching a maximum altitude of 4,200 meters at Sing La Pass. It is classified as a moderate-difficult trek, suitable for trekkers with some prior experience. The recommended seasons for trekking are spring (April to May) and autumn (October to November) when the weather is favourable and the views are clear. However, some intrepid trekkers also venture during winter to witness the snowfall and admire the snow-capped mountains, although it poses greater challenges.

During the trek, you will be provided accommodation in local lodges, where you will experience warm hospitality from the local residents. The rooms are cozy, with twin sharing beds, comfortable mattresses, blankets, and pillows. Meals served along the trail consist of local hygienic food, particularly the traditional Nepali dish called dal bhat. Teahouses offer the chance to replenish your energy with local tea or soup.

Permits are required for the Ganesh Himal Trek due to the trail passing through Annapurna and Manaslu regions. As a foreigner, you will need a special permit to embark on this journey towards Ganesh Himal. These permits can be obtained from the Department of Immigration in Kathmandu or through authorized trekking agencies.

Embark on the Ganesh Himal Trek to discover the untouched natural beauty, sacred lakes, invigorating hot springs, and captivating views of the Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, and Manaslu Himal.
