Gorakhpur, Lumbini, Muktinath, Jomsom, Pokhara, and Kathmandu is a widespread pilgrimage routes for both Hindus and Buddhists. This tour takes you over some of the most beautiful and culturally significant destinations in Nepal.

The tour starts in Gorakhpur, a city in Uttar Pradesh, India. From there, you will proceed to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha and one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Buddhists. The city is home to several monasteries and temples, including the Maya Devi Temple, which is believed to be the exact spot where Lord Buddha was born.

Next, you will head to Pokhara, a city located on the banks of Phewa Lake. The city is surrounded by beautiful mountains, including the Annapurna range, making it a perfect destination for trekking and adventure activities. Pokhara is also home to several temples and monasteries, including the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa built by Japanese Buddhist monks.

The tour then proceeds to Jomsom, a town located in the Mustang district of Nepal. From Jomsom, you will drive to Muktinath Temple, which is situated at an altitude of 3,710 meters in the Mustang district. The temple is an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, and it is believed that a visit to the temple will grant you salvation from the cycle of birth and death. The temple is home to several sacred shrines, including a shrine dedicated to Lord Vishnu, one of the most important deities in Hinduism.

After visiting Muktinath, you will return to Jomsom for an overnight stay before flying back to Pokhara. From Pokhara, you will proceed to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Kathmandu is home to several important temples and monasteries, including the Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu temples in the world. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located on the banks of the Bagmati River.

In addition to its religious significance, Kathmandu is also a vibrant and culturally rich city, with plenty of opportunities to explore its history and traditions. Some of the popular tourist attractions in the city include Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa (also known as the Monkey Temple), and Boudhanath Stupa.

  1. Day 01 Gorakhpur-Sounali-Bhairawah-Lumbini

    Arrive at the Sounali India-Nepal border, then transfer to Gorakhnath Temple via Sounali and Bhairahawa and check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Lumbini.

  2. Day 02 Lumbini to Pokhara

    After breakfast in Lumbini, we will drive to Pokhara. Pokhara is 203 km from Lumbini which is approx. takes 6hr-7 hrs to drive Pokhara is called a city of lakes decorated by natural lakes and rivers. Visit Phewa lake and do boating. overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

  3. Day 03 Fly to Jomsom (2700 m) & drive to Muktinath Temple (3710m)

    Morning breakfast at the hotel and drive towards Pokhara airport for the Jomsom flight which is 25 minutes. A hotel representative will receive you up from the airport and walk you to the hotel. Check-in and drive to Muktinath Temple which is 20 km in the distance. You can enjoy the majestic view of the mountains during this trip. The drive goes along with the edge of the Kaligandaki River which is the primary source of Saligram. Muktinath Temple is situated at 3710 meters from sea level and to reach this temple, you need to hike 20 min from the Ranipauwa Jeep Station. Once reaching the temple, participate in holy Puja and Aarati in the temple along with a talking bath in 108 holy ponds in front of the temple. Once the ritual is over, you also can visit the Jwalamai temple – a continuously burning flame located side by the temple and hike back to Jeep Station, Ranipauwa. Then drive back to Jomsom and on the way, you can explore Kagbeni.

  4. Day 04 Fly back to Pokhara & Pokhara Sightseeing (Full day)

    Early morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara and drive back to the hotel. After a luggage settlement in the hotel and getting fresh, we will go for Pokhara sightseeing. We will be covering the major attractions like Barahi Temple, Mahendra Cave, Davis Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Bindabasini Temple, Phewa Lake, and Seti Gorge.

  5. Day 05 Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu via Manakamana temple

    This morning, we drive from Pokhara towards Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, we checked in at the hotel and rested and relax. You can enjoy the rest of the time in the hotel or stroll around the ancient streets of Thamel. overnight stay at Kathmandu.

  6. Day 06 Kathmandu Sightseeing

    On this day, we begin our guided city tour after breakfast. There are many Sites in Kathmandu which are listed as World Heritage Sites. Some of them are Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. This tour will be helpful to get the knowledge and cultural practices popular in this region. After having a tour, we return back to the hotel for our overnight stay in Kathmandu.

  7. Day 07 Transfer to Airport

    This is the last day of your stay with us for this time. Our representative will drop you at the International Airport for your final departure.
