Full Day Sightseeing Around Pokhara
Today is vital day of your tour because you are going to Sarangkot, a main view point to see the Himalayas. Early morning you will drive to Sarangkot to view the glorious view of the Annapurna range, Machhepuchhre, Himchuli, Manaslu and many more. After spending couple of hours in Sarangkot you will get back to Hotel for Breakfast. After some time rest you will have sightseeing around Pokhara. You will visit Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Mahendra Cave, Seti River Gorge, Barahi Temple, Mountain Museum, World Peace Pagoda etc which are most popular spots. Drive to Chitwan National Park from Pokhara, 5/6 hours driving.
After breakfast drive to chitwan from Pokhara. When you reached at Chitwan, you will be welcomed to resort with welcome drinks and after energise at resort you will explore and walk through Tharu village who are an ethnic group indigenous to the Tarai region. Jungle Safari in Chitwan National Park.
National Park holds an important place in preserving the wild lives that are rapidly getting extinct from this planet. You're almost sure to spot one horn rhino, egrets, woodpecker, and deer in their natural habitat. The Park is also home to rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, genetic dolphin, 500 birds, butterflies, as well as the near extinct Gharials crocodiles and 543 species of birds that include critically endangered Bengal florican, the vulnerable lesser adjutant, Grey-crowned .Prinia and etc. Our Activities: - Elephant Safari: A traditional way of exploring the jungle. From the elephants back you can see over the high grass and discover the animals there. Colourful Tharu Village Visit: Experience the culture and traditions of the Tharu people living close to the jungle and wildlife for centuries. In symbiosis and battle with the wild animals. Nature or Jungle Walk: Exploring the area by foot, watch birds, animals and plants. Our experts can take you to good places for spotting a tiger, rhino or any animal. Elephant Bath: At Rapti river you will take a bath by elephant. Elephant bath is very good for your health. Cannoning trip: A typical handmade Canoe will take you along the famous Rapti River where you will encounter the Harmless Gharial and the mud drenched crocodile, basking in the sun at the river banks.
