The Kathmandu-Nagarkot-Pokhara tour is a popular tour in Nepal that offers a unique mixture of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and adventure activities. This tour covers the main tourist attractions of Nepal which are Kathmandu Valley and Pokhara.

The tour begins with a visit to Kathmandu, which is well-known for its ancient historical sites, old kings' palaces and squares, and temples. Kathmandu city is a cultural hub and has a diverse culture, particularly Newari culture, as well as religious beliefs. The highlights of Kathmandu contain the famous 2,500-year-old Syambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, which is a milestone of Kathmandu Valley. Other important sites in Kathmandu include the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Pashupatinath Temple, which is one of the holiest Hindu temples in the world, and the Boudhanath Stupa, which is the prime stupa in Nepal and a significant centre of Tibetan Buddhism.

After sightseeing in Kathmandu, the tour heads to Nagarkot, an attractive hill station located about 32 km east of Kathmandu. Nagarkot is famed for its scenic views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest, which can be seen on a clear day. Also, we can enjoy breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset over the Himalayan range from Nagarkot's hilltop. From Nagarkot, the tour proceeds to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city located in western Nepal. Pokhara is a popular destination for adventure activities such as trekking, paragliding, and rafting. The city is also home to several natural attractions, including Phewa Lake, which is the second-largest lake in Nepal and offers stunning views of the Annapurna Himalayas. Also, we will explore the nearby World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa that offers panoramic views of the Pokhara valley. Itinerary

  1. Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu (1310m)

    Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, complete the immigration process at the airport. Meet our local representative who will help you with your transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and rest for nights.

  2. Day 02 Sightseeing in Kathmandu | UNESCO World Heritage Sites

    Post breakfast in the morning, and get ready to explore Kathmandu. Our first stop of the day is the famous Jal Narayan Temple, popularly known as Budhanilkantha Temple, which is a Hindu open-air temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu in a reclining position. Next, visit one of the most revered Hindu pilgrimage sites - the Pashupatinath temple, where the holy sadhus pray and cremations take place along the Bagmati river. You will then continue to the holiest shrine for the Buddhist culture in Nepal - the Boudhanath Stupa where thousands of pilgrims from different religions gather here daily to perform a ritualistic circumnavigation.

  3. Day 03 Sightseeing in Patan and Bhaktapur and overnights at Nagarkot

    Enjoy an early morning breakfast at Hotel and get ready to explore Patan Durbar Square which is full of ancient’s palaces, temples and shrines, and beautiful carvings. It is one of the attractions of the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided. Explore temples and witness the unique culture and the finest display of craftsmanship. Afterwards, Drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square which offers you to a great chance to discover this living museum on every corner. You will find numerous artistic shrines and monuments. The Top Highlights are Durbar Square, Nayatapola, Dattatrayta and Pottery Square, Explore the narrow lanes of Bhaktapur to see Nepalese handicrafts and paintings.   4. Day 04 Sunrise View from Nagarkot and transfer to domestic airport | Fly to Pokhara

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll transfer to the domestic airport and catch a scenic 30-minute flight northwest to Pokhara. late afternoon and evening are free to spend at your leisure—relaxing lakeside and enjoying nights

  5. Day 05 Sightseeing in Pokhara Valley and fly back to Kathmandu

    Today explore Pokhara, a relaxed city with a stunning location between the serene waters of Phewa Lake and the towering peak of Macchapucchre. Start the day off in style with a boat ride at Phewa Lake. Continue to the natural wonders of Gupteswor Caves and the nearby Davis Falls etc. After the sightseeing tour, in the afternoon it's time to catch your flight back to Kathmandu and rest and relax.

  6. Day 06 Leisure Day in Kathmandu | Go on a shopping free | Departure

You can walk around Kathmandu Durbar Square known for its beautiful architecture. The Kumari Mahal is the residence of the living goddess of Nepal. Relish your taste buds with some local delicacies to get a complete cultural experience or you go shopping in the Thamel market and buy some souvenirs for your loved ones. Your amazing Nepal tour concludes as you get dropped off at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey
