Namche and Tengboche Trek

We called it one of the best Everest Panorama trek and just few days easy hike in the Sherpa land. This trek heads from Lukla to the Sherpa towns up north. We spend time in mountain village of Namche Bazaar which was a famous trading center between Tibet and Nepal. From Namche we head up to the holy village of Tengpoche. This has long been the religious centre for all inhabitants of the Solu Khumbu area. There are numerous shrines and a beautiful monastery that sits at 3870 meters. You will take your time heading back to Lukla and there are many options for extra side trips. This trek takes 8 days up with some up and down hiking. The views whatever you have chance to witness in life probably unforgettable.

  1. Day 01 Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (8800ft) and a short trek (2-3 hours to) to Phakding

    Depart Kathmandu via air, for Lukla (8800ft) and a short trek (2-3 hours to) to Phakding at 8,661 feet. The flight into Lukla is similar to the Everest View flight for views and beauty. Accommodation: Hotel (BB Plan) - Transportation: Private vehicle.

  2. Day 02 Phakding – Namche 3450m, 5 hours walk and overnight at lodge.

    The trail climbs gradually following the river and enters the Everest National Park at Jorsale, then crosses the river and climbs steeply to Namche (11,100 feet). (4-6 hours). Accommodation: Tea House/Lodge (B,L,D)

  3. Day 03 Namche/ Rest day

    Namche/ Rest day or day hike possible. Namche is capital of the Khumbu district and offers many ways to spend a day. Accommodation: Tea House/Lodge (B,L,D)

  4. Day 04 Trek from Namche to Tengboche

    Tengboche. We Climb the ridge above Namche and descend to the Dudh Koshi River before climbing again to Tengboche Monastery (12664 feet). (4-6 hours). Accommodation: Tea House/Lodge (B,L,D)

  5. Day 05 Rest and Explore the Tengboche. Visit monastery at Dibuche and simply enjoy great Everest views.

  6. Day 06 Visit Dibuche and climb up to Tengboche

    Khumjung- after breakfast join for day hike again descent to Imja khola bridge and easy walk to Dibuche and climb up to Tengboche again and descent all the way to river bank and again ascent to the final stop. Accommodation: Tea House/Lodge (B,L,D)

  7. Day 07 Trek down to Manjo

    Manjo- Today you will hike through the Syangboche world’s highest strip then drops to Namche for lunch stop and continue descent again up to final stop. Accommodation: Tea House/Lodge (B,L,D)

  8. Day 08 Lukla

    Return to Lukla- all the way of Dudhkoshi river valley trail we will hike down and uphill climb to. Accommodation: Tea House/Lodge (B,L,D)

  9. Day 09 Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel and rest.
