Damodar Kunda trek has been open for tourist in the year of 2002 for all trekkers & Pilgrimage foreigners. Now your dream to Damodar Kunda Trek can be fulfilled. The Damodar Kund (lake) is famous for Hindu and Buddhist religious pilgrims; it is situated in the north of Annapurna range. The elevation of the Damodar Kund is just 4890 meters; it is cold and windy place. We will recommend to you visit during August every year, because every year there is a big festival up there and many pilgrimages Hindu and Buddhist visit at this time of August. Usually, you can visit in April to September as well every year. From, a little bit higher than the lake, the views around there are great looking.

Damodar Himal to the north and the Annapurna Himalayan massif is clearly visible to the south. The walk to the Damodar Kund Lake is easy but quite long walking distance. don't worry about the altitude; we will carry medicine dimox for altitude sickness the highest camp is at the Damodar Kund just 4890 meters high.
