Itinerary

  1. Day 01 Arrival at Kathmandu.

    You will be welcomed by our staff standing with your name card at the airport arrival terminal and transferred to your hotel by vehicle. Your hotel is in the middle of the city. You will have nothing planned for the day, so take a rest and gather the energy to walk on the trails. Else, if you have some personal gears to buy, you can go shopping in the Market in the evening. There will be a small meeting about the trek in the evening. You will spend a night in a hotel.

  2. Day 02 Kathmandu | trek preparation, Permits Procedure

    After enjoying breakfast, you have the option to spend your day exploring the many famous sights around Kathmandu. The city has a unique charm in the early morning as it slowly comes to life, but still remains relatively peaceful. You can choose to have a free day or take advantage of our offer to provide a knowledgeable, English-speaking guide who can lead you to some of the most significant sites and explain their history.
    Optional day tours:
    We offer a variety of optional day tours to choose from, including the Sacred Sites of the Valley, a full-day excursion to visit Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath, and you can also visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Boudhanath, and see the world's largest spherical stupa, or explore the largest and most sacred Hindu temple in Nepal.
    For those who want to venture outside of the city, a 30-minute drive will take you to the ancient city of Bhaktapur, known for its medieval art and wood carving. You can also take a one-hour mountain flight to see Mount Everest or go for Day hiking around Kathmandu valley or mountain biking in the scenic Shivapuri National Park, located on the northern edge of the Kathmandu Valley.
    After your day's adventure, you'll return to your hotel in the early evening where you'll meet with our specialist or one of their staff members who will provide you with a detailed briefing of your upcoming trip, including what to expect and transportation logistics.

  3. Day 03 Kathmandu to Pokhara or drive to Dhampus Village / Kathmandu to Dhampus village

    If we plan on driving to Dhampus Village, our journey would begin early in the morning after having breakfast at the hotel. Starting from Kathmandu, the road out of the valley twists its way down until it meets the Trushuli River. The drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara offers spectacular views of the hills, gorges, rivers, and villages of central Nepal. Once we reach flatter land, we will stop for lunch before heading towards the lake city of Pokhara. From Pokhara, we will take the Baglung highway and drive for an hour before reaching Phedi. Afterwards, we will climb up to Dhampus village where we can enjoy the breathtaking view of Fishtail Mountain and Pokhara City, including Fewa Lake.
    However, if we are flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara, we will start our journey to Dhampus village after reaching Pokhara airport. It's important to check and add this while booking.

  4. Day 04 Trek from Dhampus Village to Tolka 1700m/5 hours

    Following a restful night in the charming Dhampus village, inhabited by the Gurung communities, you will commence your trek towards Tolka at a leisurely pace. As you make your way through the beautiful rhododendron forests, you will be greeted with the sight of vibrant and colorful flowers in bloom. You will also get to experience the thrill of walking across suspension bridges as you cross Modi Khola and Mardi Khola. The trek from Dhampus to Tolka entails several uphill and downhill walks, and you will pass by Bheri Kharka, a Gurung village, before reaching Tolka. For the night, you will be staying at a comfortable lodge in Tolka.

  5. Day 05 Trek from Tolka to Jhinu Danda 1780m/5 hours

    From Tolka, you will continue your journey towards Jhinu Danda, where you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Annapurna massif, Dhaulagiri massif, Machhapuchhre (6993m), and other Himalayan ranges. The trek from Tolka to Jhinu Danda involves a lot of descending through stone staircases, which can be challenging, so it's essential to prepare yourself and your children physically and mentally. Along the way, you will pass through the Gurung village of Landruk, offering a unique cultural experience. The trail also includes other interesting places like a beautiful waterfall and a natural hot water spring in Jhinu Danda, where you will spend the night. In total, the trek will take about 5 hours, allowing you to create beautiful memories with your family while enjoying the scenic views.

  6. Day 06 Trek from Jhinu Danda to Ghandruk Village 1940m/5 hours

    The next day's trek will take you on a 5-hour journey through some of the most stunning landscapes you'll encounter on your trip. Starting from Jhinu Danda, you'll begin by descending before climbing up towards a ridge that provides a breathtaking view of Jhinu Danda and Chhomrong village. The trek passes through gorgeous rhododendron forests, gradually leading you towards Ghandruk, the largest Gurung settlement in the Annapurna region. Here, you can immerse yourself in Gurung culture, explore the unique architecture, and even dress up in traditional Gurung attire at the Gurung Museum. As you retire to your hotel in Ghandruk, you'll be treated to a magnificent panoramic view of Annapurna South (7219m) and Machhapuchhre (6993m). Overnight at a lodge in Ghandruk.

  7. Day 07 Trek from Ghandruk to Syauli Bazaar 1220m/3 hours and drive to Pokhara 820m/2 hours

    You will start your return journey from Ghandruk, following a gradual descent down the stone staircases. After a leisurely 3-hour walk, you will arrive at Syaulibazar. From there, you will embark on a scenic 2-hour drive to the vibrant city of Pokhara. In the evening, you can immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the lakeside area, relishing the delicious cuisine and lively music. You will spend the night at a comfortable hotel in Pokhara.

  8. Day 08 Pokhara to Kathmandu (Drive)

    Once you finish your breakfast, it's time to set off on your journey back to Kathmandu. You can choose to board a comfortable tourist bus, which we provide for this route, or have your private vehicle arranged to pick you up from your hotel. Alternatively, you may even opt for a flight to Kathmandu, depending on your preference and requirements. Please remember to inform us of your choice while booking your trip.

  9. Day 09 Final departure

    Breakfast at the hotel. Free & easy until the representative of our team will transfer you to the airport and Depart to your own country.
