Mt. Kailash Tour is the most visited sacred destination in far-west inTibet and Hindus believe Mt Kailash to be the abode of Lord Shiva. To apply the visa approval before your arrival we need:

a) A clear, colour scans of your passport along with advance amount of US $ 500.  This must be provided to us at least 35 days prior to the arrival in Kathmandu.

Health & Altitude problems:

Travelling in Tibet involves high altitude and can be strenuous. Clients with heart and lung problems or blood diseases should consult their doctor before booking the trip. Very often the cases of altitude sickness have been reported. Simple headache, fever, loss of appetite or stomach disorders can happen before the acclimatization. Advised, drink approx. 04 litters of water per day, do not strain yourself, move slowly, breathe deeply and take regular rests.? 

Itinerary

  1. Day 01 Arrive in Kathmandu.

    Assistance upon arrival & Transfer to the hotel. Welcome Dinner with Tour Briefing & O/N at the hotel.

  2. Day 02 Sightseeing around Kathmandu

    Sightseeing Tour to Pashupatinath and Budhanilkantha in the morning. Leisure Time.

  3. Day 03 Kathmandu to Syabrubeshi

    After Breakfast, Drive to Syabrubeshi (1450 m). 150km, a small town near Rashuwa Gadhi, the Border of Nepal and China. O/n at the hotel.

  4. Day 04 Syabrubeshi to Kerung

    Drive to the China border (Friendship bridge). After completion of customs formalities, Drive (45km.) to Kerung (4130m). O/N at the Hotel.

  5. Day 05 Acclimatization at Kerung

    A whole day of Leisure time at Kerung, a border city in Tibet, China for acclimatization. O/N at the Hotel.

  6. Day 06 Kerung to Saga or Dong-Pa

    Drive Kerung to Saga or Dong-Pa. O/N at the Hotel.

  7. Day 07 Drive to Lake Mansarovar for about 350 km by way of Prayang and Mayum La Pass.

    The longest driving day starts with full of excitement, Jeeps and trucks roll on the wide valley following rivers and grazing land of yaks and sheep. Far south you can see snow-covered peaks near you, lots of rocky peaks and sand duns give you an ideal world. Depending on the season, nomads and other mobile shopkeepers are attired in beautiful traditional costumes, waiting for your arrival with hot tea and other supplies along with a big smile. In the late afternoon, you can have the first sight of Holy Kailash Parbat and Mansarovar. Here, it is a small village nearby Lake Manasarover. Holy-Manasarovara: At 14950-ft/ 4558m. The highest lake of fresh water with a turquoise complexion in the world is full of fish and swans. Holy Kailash Parbat, Mt. Gurula-Mandata, and Lake Rashekshi are laying in its surrounding. The region is considered rich in gold and other mines, hot springs and hundreds of wild living creatures. Night halt beside Manasarovar.

  8. Day 08 In the morning, Indulge in Holy Bath, Puja and Homa and afternoon drive to Tarchen (Base camp of Kailash).

    Mansarovar is the lake of compassion, tranquillity and bliss. After completing the memorable morning Bath and Puja we will be heading towards Tarchen. It is considered a base camp for the Holy Kailash Parikrama.

  9. Day 09 Tarchen to Dehara Puk via Yam Dwar

    It is one of the most exciting days walking along the beautiful rocky cliffs; waterfalls with some clouds in the clear blue sky make you feel the Great God Shiva is everywhere with tons of blessings to you. From time to time the face of Kailash Parbat will keep on appearing. For an 18 km trail, it takes almost 7 hrs.

  10. Day 10 Experience the spirituality of Parikarma on the 2nd day up to Zuthulphuk via Dolmala Pass(5,630m)

    Hardest but Holiest day of your pilgrimage Yatra with Dolma-La (pass) of 18600ft between two valleys. Yamasthal should be crossed to reach the Shiva-sthal, here there is the symbolical death, Pilgrimages leave the Old clothes, spin of hair or a drop of Blood in hope, that terrible Yamraja (The master of death) will attention to these signs and will allow the Yatries (travelers) to be born in spirit to pass Dolma- La. The pass associates at Buddhists with the goddess Container, and at Hindu with Parvati, divine wife misters Shiva. On the pass tourists and pilgrimage hang out the Tibetan flags, On success. While your steps goes closer to the pass, Once you reach the top, just do the holiest offerings and sit down for meditation to forget yourself. Once your steps go down, Parvati-sthal and Gauri Kunda are on the way. By the late afternoon you will arrive at Zuthal Puk (the cave of Miracles. The great ascetic Milerappa is supposed to have performed miracles here).

  11. Day 11 Short Trek (about 7 km.) & drive back to Dharchen. After Lunch, drive to Dong-Pa or Saga.

    End of Kailash Parikrama and drive to Manasarovara: After walking 3 hours, all the driving crew will be waiting for your arrival. By the afternoon you will be at your camp beside Dong Pa/ Saga via Lake Manasarovar

  12. Day 12 Drive from Dong-Pa or Saga to Kerung
