Cho Oyu Expedition

Cho Oyu expedition is always prefer by climbers from Tibet side and it is easy accessible by drive. Among 8000 above mountains in the world Cho Oyu is popular as best and safe one for expedition.
The way near to Base camp involves a normal drive at high altitude, but rewards with influential views of Cho Oyu (8201m) to the north. Further will be realm of the glaciers, surrounded by the unforgettable presence of the world’s mightiest mountains; and brooding above the towering bulk of Everest itself. Normally, we set up four camps in the approach excluding Advanced Base camp. Thereafter starts our main attempt to scale the summit (8201m).

Cho Oyu Expedition Itinerary

Day 01/02: Depart your country / Arrive Kathmandu. Transfer to Hotel.

Day 03: Guided sightseeing in Kathmandu. Necessary preparations for the expedition.

Day 04: KATHMANDU – Lhasa Fly.

Day 05: Lhasa tour and O/n at hotel.

Day 06: Lhasa tour and O/n at hotel.

Day 07: Drive to Xigatse and O/n at hotel.

Day 08: Xigatse – Tingri (4342m) and O/n at hotel.

Day 09: Rest Day For The Acclimatization.

Day 10: Tingri – Cho – Oyu Base Camp. (4700m)/camping.

Day 11: Acclimatization (Base Camp).

Day 12: Base Camp – Advanced Base Camp (5200m).

Day 13: Acclimatization (Advanced Base Camp).

Day 14: Abc – High Camp (6200m).

Day 15/17: Climb Up To Camp 01 (6556m).

Day 18/22: Climb Up To Camp 02 (7151m).

Day 23/28: Climb Up To Camp 03 (7412m).

Day 29/35: Final Attempt: Camp 03 To Summit (8201m).

Day 36: Return To Advanced Base Camp.

Day 37: Return To Base Camp.

Day 38: Base Camp Cleaning Day.

Day 39: Continue To Zangmu and O/n at hotel.

Day 40: Zangmu – Kathmandu and O/n at hotel.

Day 41/43: Inside Kathmandu and O/n at hotel.

Day 44: Final Departure.
