Yala Peak is very close to Tibetan border indeed, the one of the border mountain is right next to it (connected by a ridge). The view from top includes Shishapangma, the only eight-thousand completely in Tibet. Usually climbed in 2 days from Kyanjin Gompa (3900m), camping at Yala Kharka (4600m). It's also possible to do it in one day, without camping, but it's a long day with a pre-dawn start. Climb is relatively easy and non-technical, but at some places you have to use your hands, and ice axes are useful but not essential. The last 15 meters to the top is a steep rock pyramid, hands definitely required, and 1500m to fall if you are really unlucky.
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel and welcome dinner.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.
Day 03: By Bus: Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi (2200m).
Day 04: Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2500m).
Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang (3100m).
Day 06: Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa (3750m).
Day 07: Excursion to Tserko Ri (5033m).
Day 08: Kyanjin Gompa to Yala Peak Base Camp (4800m).
Day 09: Base Camp to High Camp.
Day 10: High Camp to Yala Peak summit (5500m) and back to Base Camp.
Day 11: Base Camp to Ghora Tabela (3050m).
Day 12: Ghore Tabela to Thulo Syabru (2200m).
Day 13: Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa (3300m).
Day 14: Sing Gompa to Dhunche (1950m).
Day 15: By Bus: Dhunche to Kathmandu.
Day 16: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 17: Departure.
