Machermo Peak Climbing (6237m)

Macchermo Peak Climbing is situated at Mahalangur region on the way to Gokyo Valley trek. This is one of the most interesting peaks climbing among the trekking Peaks in Nepal. To reach the base camp, the trail leads through Yak pasture, on the way of Gokyo trek. The base camp is set up above the rocky meadows and moraine around 5140 meter. Further climb asscends on the rock and snow slopes to reach the top. The same path decends to base camp. From the summit of this Peak provides stunning views of Amadablam, Lhotse Shar, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest.

Macchermo Peak Climbing Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel and welcome dinner.

Day 02: Full day Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley.

Day 03: By Plane: Kathmandu to Lukla 2850meter and trek to Phakding 2640m.

Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Acclimatizing day at Namche Bazaar.

Day 06: Namche to Dole.

Day 07: Dole to Macchermo.

Day 08: Machhermo to Gokyo.

Day 09: Early morning visit Gokyo-Ri 5340 meter and return to Gokyo.

Day 10: Gokyo to Machermo Base Camp.

Day 11: Base Camp to High Camp.

Day 12: High Camp to Summit Machhero Peak 6237m & back to Base Camp.

Day 13: Base Camp to Machhermo.

Day 14: Machhermo to Khumjung.

Day 15: Khumjung to Monjo /  Phakding.

Day 16: Monjo / Phakding to Lukla.

Day 18: By Plane: Lukla to Kathmandu.

Day 19: Free day at Kathmandu.

Day 20: Departure to Airport.
